PAPER WRITING GUIDELINES

1- Extended abstracts must be written in Turkish and English.

2- Extended abstracts must include a short summary that briefly explains the study, along with an introduction that emphasizes the study's purpose, significance, contribution, and main purpose.

The text following the introduction should include, depending on the type of study, the theoretical framework and hypotheses, the research method, the findings, and the conclusion and discussion.

3- The short abstract must be no more than 150 words. The abstract must be typed left-aligned, and separated by one line space after the last author's information.

Keywords must be included on the line immediately below the short abstract. A maximum of five keywords must be used in submitted abstracts.

4- Submitted abstracts must be formatted in MS Office Word (*.doc, *.docx).

5- Extended abstracts (including references) must be between 1,000 and 2,500 words.

6- The font used, starting from the abstract, should be Times New Roman (12 point font).

The text should be justified and written with 1.5 line spacing. Paragraph spacing should be set to "after 6 pt" and no indentation should be used for the first line of paragraphs.

Document margins should be set to 3 cm for the Top, Bottom, Left, and Right sides. These specifications apply to the entire text, including footnotes, references, quotations, and appendices.

7- The main title of the study should be written in 14 point font, bold, centered, and in all capital letters.

All headings except "Abstract" and "References" should be numbered using a decimal numbering system (e.g., 1., 2.1, 3.2.1). Authors should use a maximum of three heading levels.

Other headings should be written in 12 point font, aligned left, bold, with the first letter of each major word capitalized (Title Case) and the rest lowercase. A single line space should be left before each heading.

8- Starting one line below the main heading, the author's title and name(s) should be written with the first letter capitalized, and surnames should be written in all capital letters and bold.

Author information should be centered and listed one below the other. The university and email addresses should be listed immediately below the author names.

For multiple authors, use superscript numbers after the author's name(s) to denote affiliation if they are from different institutions.

9- The data obtained in the research should be presented using tables, graphs, and figures.

All tables, graphs, and figures within the text should be numbered and named sequentially (Figure 1, Table 1, Graph 1). Table, graph, and figure titles should be typed at the top, centered on the page, in bold, and with only the initials capitalized.

If available, the sources of tables, graphs, and figures should be listed immediately below the tables, graphs, and figures, in accordance with in-text citation rules. If the content of the tables, graphs, and figures does not fit on the page, smaller font sizes may be preferred.

Statistical significance levels in tables should be indicated with an asterisk (*) (* for p<0.05, ** for p<0.01, and *** for p<0.001).

10- Citations should be given in the text following APA 7th Edition rules, using either the parenthetical or narrative format. Use the ampersand (&) only inside parentheses and the word "and" in narrative text.

• Parenthetical Citation: (Robbins & Judge, 2007)
• Narrative Citation: Robbins and Judge (2007) suggested...

In direct quotations, the page number should be given after the (:) sign or the letter p. (e.g., Koçel, 2010: 556 or Koçel, 2010, p. 556).

For works with three or more authors, cite only the first author followed by "et al." from the first citation onwards (e.g., Reiss et al., 1961).

11- All in-text citations must be listed in the references. The references should begin where the text ends.

The heading "References" should be left-aligned and bolded. References should be listed in alphabetical order by the last name of the first author.

The reference list must use a hanging indent. The first line of each reference should be left-aligned, and subsequent lines should be indented 1.25 cm to the left (set the Paragraph option to "Hanging" with a value of "1.25 cm").

The format used for referencing is APA (American Psychological Association) Style, 7th Edition. Authors must follow the writing rules and format specified in the Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association.
